Backing up your computer data 2
There are two other online backup solutions that I wanted to tell you about.
Mozy.com offers home users up to 2 GB of storage space for backups at no charge. Simply set up an account, download the software and set up your backup job and it will run automatically from then on. You can also encrypt your backups to keep them safe. You can get unlimited storage space for $5 a month.
Mozy will run on any platform…. XP, Vista and Mac.
Carbonite.com is similar to Mozy, however, it’s only free for the duration of the 15-day trial period. Then you pay $50 a year for the service. According to Carbonite’s web site, it will only run on Windows XP.
